Hello everyone! My name is Brian Benedict, and welcome to my website. It’s kind of cool to have a website; it makes me feel important. I'm kidding. Here's a little bit about me and what I do: I am 25 Years Old, born and raised in the “NYC Area”, AKA New Jersey. I graduated from Rutgers Business School with a degree in accounting and am currently working a 9-5 job as an accountant.

Because I am an accountant, many people assume I know things about personal finance. They ask me questions, and it’s quite funny when I don’t have the answers. It’s not their fault. They don’t know that accounting and personal finance are two different worlds. But after responding with “I don’t know” a few times, I thought it would be cool to know the answers to their questions. Thus, this website was born.

I still don’t know the answers to their questions. Sorry, I don’t know if you should lease or buy a car. Or the best stock to invest in right now. Personally, I’ve had a bit of a seesaw relationship with money. There have been times I have been great, and times I look back and think “What the hell was I doing”. As of right now, I am somewhere in the middle, but I am learning and getting better.

I started a blog and YouTube channel to document my journey through personal finance. All the old folks say, “I wish I started investing earlier”. At 25, I am going to put that to the test. Let’s see how much better I can get at managing my money and just how much wealth I can build!
